Owner, Belinda Nelson, loves educating people and empowering them to enhance everyday life through movement-based activities. Belinda is a certified Master Trainer in Personal Training, a Master Rehab Trainer, a MOSSA® Group Exercise Leader for (Group Centergy® and R30®) and a passionate fitness professional. With over 10 years in the fitness industry and a lifetime of physical activity, including competitive gymnastics, netball, and triathlons, Belinda received top honours as a Personal Trainer in 2017 winning Fitness Australia’s National #Active Achiever’s Award.
As a mum of two young kids in 2013, I was struggling to manage everyday commitments, let alone find time for exercise. It became clear then that regular physical activity is not a luxury… it is a necessity for both mental and physical well-being. After experiencing these benefits, both before and after kids, I discovered my passion for helping other people experience these same benefits and enhance their lives. Initially specialising in Group Fitness classes with a focus on technique, fun and community, I discovered the growing need among my clients and within the local community to assist people with conditions that were impacting their quality of life.
I am committed to ongoing education and now specialise in educating and empowering people through physical activity. The most rewarding part of being a personal trainer is helping someone adopt sustainable healthy habits, enhance their daily life, or achieve goals that they never dreamed were possible.
Belinda has assisted people in fully recovering from various surgeries, injuries and chronic pain, and helped clients better manage conditions including anxiety, arthritis, high/low blood pressure, chemotherapy, depression, diabetes, PTSD and stress.
